There is a lot of Wieland in the Elbphilharmonie

The Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg is a superlative building - and has long since become the new landmark of the Hanseatic city. Less well known: Behind the style-defining brick and glass façade, kilometers of copper pipes from Wieland ensure efficient building technology.

Cupromed tubes from Wieland for the Bilkent Clinic in Ankara

The “Bilkent Integrated Health Campus” opened in the Turkish capital Ankara in 2018. For the mammoth project, Wieland Haustechnik supplied around 330 kilometers of cupromed copper pipes with special hygienic suitability for the transport of medical gases as well as for refrigeration and air conditioning technology.

The VSH product lines can be found throughout the hall and in the technical area.

“Floating houses” with cuprotherm surface heating from Wieland

As part of the “Living on Water” project, the prototype of a “floating house” was launched in Kiel in 2005. It combines traditional shipbuilding techniques with new ecological concepts. Also on board: cuprotherm surface heating systems from Wieland.

VSH XPress is used in the installation of the potable water system, varying dimensions 15-76,1mm.
