Fluid category 2 safety valves
Anti-pollution check valves and combined stop and check valves allow drinking water to flow in only one direction and prevent backflow against the direction of flow. In this way, they reliably protect against category 2 fluids in accordance with DIN EN 1717.
Benefit from the following advantages:
- The safety EA for narrow pipe networks thanks to opening pressure of just 10 hPa
- Permanently leak-proof thanks to stainless steel valve seat (Figure 145 2G)
- Long service life thanks to pivoted shut-off stop cone (Figure 145 2G)
- Utmost operational safety because spindle gasket replaceable under full operating pressure
Definition of fluid category 2 based on DIN EN 1717
Fluid that is suitable for human consumption and does not present a hazard. This also includes water from a drinking water installation in which a change in taste, smell, colour or temperature (heating or cooling) occurs.
Practical use examples:
- Coffee/water dispensers
- House water entry points
- Water heaters
